Welcome!  The Barclay Area Civic Association ("BACA") has represented the “quality of neighborhood life” interests of over 1800 Barclay area families for more than 30 years.   These interests include: protecting local property values, enforcing zoning and planning laws, reducing crime, increasing efficiency of municipal services, maintaining a healthy environment, enhancing recreation and open space opportunities, supporting reasonable property taxes, and improving the quality of public schools.  BACA advocates neighborhood interests and concerns to the Mayor, the Town Council, the Planning and Zoning Boards, the School Board, and other elected representatives.   BACA also sponsors candidate debates and publishes periodic newsletters.  BACA is a volunteer neighborhood association and is a non- profit group.  While BACA advocates positions and educates voters about candidates’ views on issues, the Association does not endorse candidates or slates of candidates.   BACA’s members live between Route 70, Interstate 295, and Kresson and Brace Roads.  This includes Old Barclay, New Barclay, and the Hunt Tract areas.

The Association welcomes the active participation of all Barclay Area residents.   Please send your $20 check for 2011-12 dues (made out to "BACA") to our Treasurer Phyllis Jones, 1117 York Road, Cherry Hill, NJ  08034.
